In 2010, the Foundation Córdoba Cultural City commissioned Off Limits the city’s design and implementation of the strategy in social networks to give visibility to its candidature to the European Cultural Capital 2016 so as to get public support 2.0

The specific objectives of the program 2.0 were, on the one hand, online visibility to Córdoba 2016 to obtain membership and volunteers among citizens, and also generate dialogue and community around the candidature in social media; besides, it was sought to produce a feedback effect among offline and online media, while that generated traffic to the website.

In only five months of campaign, Córdoba 2016 led the social networking presence over the other candidate cities for the European Cultural Capital, a point that became the key issue in its pre-selection.
