In 2011, the UAAV commissioned Off Limits the definition, coordination, dissemination and implementation of the first edition of the conference Do the Right Thing, a forum promoted by artists associations to carry out a brainstorming on the current outlook of Art in Spain. Hand in hand with our team, these working days took place at the Reina Sofía Museum in December 2011, having the aim of deepening the knowledge and stimulate debate on the Copyright and Good Practice in Visual Arts in our country. Participants included artists, institutions, critics, associations, museums directors, gallery owners and politicians.

Off Limits was responsible for the definition of the event, the overall coordination of the project, its definition, design and editorial content, production and dissemination, the selection of speakers and partners, negotiating sponsorships and supports, as well as definition and implementation of the communication campaign.

UAAV is the state federation that groups the professional associations of visual artists from Asturias, Catalonia, Castile and León, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Valencia, Aragón and Andalusia, representing 3.500 artists. UAAV was born in 1996 in order to articulate nationally a collective of artists facing the need for dialogue between the artistic community and Spanish and European institutions as well as agents involved. Since its inception in 1996, UAAV has been chaired by Darío Corbeira, Concha Jerez and Sergi Aguilar. Currently, the President is Francesca Llopis and the Honorary President is Luis Gordillo.
